Pub Quiz

The Atmospheric Railway Inn, The Strand, Starcross.

The name Isambard Kingdom Brunel is synonymous with success of the railways in the south west. His idea to power carriages from a single pumping house rather than each train having its own engine, did not work. The pumping tower still stands in Starcross and has a pub named after it.

The quiz will be a great success and you are welcome to come along and join a team or just cheer us on. Everyone here loves a raffle.  It will increase the overall income of the evening. You could donate a raffle prize. Something easy to post like a £5 gift voucher would be very welcome and will encourage people to join in.
